Friday, March 14 - Test 01
  • Test 01 consist of materials covered in the Introduction to 3d Modeling and Modeling with Primitives units.
Thursday, March 13 - Test Review
  • Learning Objective:  You will review for tomorrow's Test.
  • We will have a test tomorrow (Friday, March 14) on our first two units - an Introduction to 3d Modeling and Modeling with Primitives.
  • Today's Handout:
Wednesday, March 12 - Modeling with Primitives
  • Learning Objective:  YWBAT precisely space  and place objects.
  • Essential Question:  How can we efficiently and precisely clean up our designs?
  • Classwork:  Complete the "Elvis Has Left the Building" Design Challenge.  Log into TinkerCAD, then Click HERE.  Follow these instructions:
    • Take the jumbled mess and fix it!  Fixing it means:
      1.  All letters are on the workplane
      2.  They are rotated and aligned properly and should clearly read, "Elvis has left the building"
      3.  Elvis, even though he looks really good up-side-down, should be oriented right-side-up.
      4. Submit through the submit Homework Form.

Tuesday, March 11 - Identify Primitives that make up an object 02
  • Learning Objective:  YWBAT create a more complex design.
  • Essential Question: How are we sure that certain parts of our design are lined up the way we want them to be?
  • Classwork: Complete the Chess Pawn Tutorial on TinkderCAD.  to do this:
  • Tonight's Homework - if you didn't complete today's chess pawn tutorial, it becomes homework.
    • You can also use this opportunity to complete late assignments.  We have exactly 2 weeks left in the marking period! Marking period ends on Friday 3/21/14.

Monday, March 10 - Identify Primitives that make up an object 01
  • Learning Objective:  YWBAT unpack a TinkerCad design  to identify the primitives used to create the design.
  • Essential Question: What processes can we use to identify the primitives that make up a complex design?
  • Classwork:  Complete the Primitive Elvis Handout
  • Tonight's Homework - if you didn't complete today's handout, it becomes homework.
