Friday, February 28 - Modeling with Primitives 4
  • LO: YWBAT use the work plane tool to place objects together.
  • Essential Question: What navigation and manipulation tools are essential for today's design?
  • Classwork: Complete the "Die on a workplane" tutorial and submit using the Submit homework form.

Thursday, February 27 - Modeling with Primitives 3
  • LO: YWBAT manipulate primitives.
  • Essential Question:  What are the basic  object manipulation tools for working with 3D primitives?
  • Classwork:  Adapt the Key Ring tutorial to create a bathroom pass for a favorite teacher! When you submit the assignment, state one shortcut you used and describe how it helped improve your efficiency.  Submit using the Submit homework form.

Wednesday, February 26 - Modeling with Primitives 2
  • LO:  YWBAT move and manipulate digital primitives.
  • Essential Question: How do primitives make some parts of 3D design easier?
  • Classwork:  Create a freeform design in TinkerCAD (It can be whatever you want) and submit using the Submit homework form.
  • Homework:  TinkerCAD shortcuts - Research one TinkerCAD shortcut and be prepared to present what you learn to the class (shortcut, what it is used for, a brief demonstration showing how useful the shortcut can be).

Tuesday, February 25 - Modeling with Primitives 1
  • LO: YWBAT move and manipulate digital primitives.
  • Essential Question: What are primitives and how can they help us design in 3D?
  • Classwork:  Create a freeform design in TinkerCAD (It can be whatever you want) and submit it using the Submit homework form

Monday, February 24 - Type of 3D Printers
  • LO:  YWBAT describe the three main processes of 3D printing.
  • Essential Question: What are the advantages and disadvantages of the different 3D Printing processes?
